The Mangral Rajputs are a tribe of Kashmiri Rajputs who ruled the state of Poonch from the fourteenth century to the beginning of the nineteenth century. Raja Shahsawar Khan was the last crown prince of this tribe. Kotli Azad Kashmir, formerly known as Kotli Mangrals, is still the custodian of the greatness of the Mangral Rajputs. Where this tribe with its traditions, culture and values still exists with a large population.
